A lost virtue

in·teg·ri·ty
noun
  1. 1.
the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.

"he is known to be a man of integrity"

Is there any left in this world? I look around and have a very difficult time finding people that truly poses it. It's the most important attribute for me.  Perhaps that's why my circle has become so small. I guess when you have a leader of what is suppose to be the greatest country in the world set an extremely low bar, it's easy to follow suit. I'm not sure. It's been diminishing long before 45 came along. Gone are the days where someones good word means something. For that matter, hearing actual truth spoken is nonexistent. Opinions have become facts and if yours differs from mine then I am wrong. Right has become wrong and vise versa. Our moral compass is busted. Integrity. Nonexistent.

Sitting down and conversating with someone and know they are not going to scatter your business like glitter in the wind is rare. People now wear their crudeness like a badge of honor. Like their, "I don't give a f@&#" attitude is something to be admired. I watch as people post and comment on politics, articles, policies and movements they don't agree with, yet simultaneously contribute and support it with their dollars, their time, their words and actions. Your true character on full display. Hypocrisy at it's finest.
Integrity. Nonexistent.

Character, Personal responsibility, truth, compassion:INTEGRITY are now things of the past. Knowing better means doing better. It's time to level up and fix your broken compass.
